StayNaut
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out the terms that apply when StayNaut plans, arranges, and coordinates a pilgrimage or spiritual journey for you. They explain how enquiries and bookings work, your responsibilities, how changes and cancellations are handled, and the role of StayNaut and the third-party suppliers involved in your journey.
By submitting an enquiry, accepting a proposal, making a payment, or confirming a booking with StayNaut, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies referred to in them.
1. Nature of StayNaut's services
StayNaut, operated by SHA Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd., plans, arranges, and coordinates pilgrimage and spiritual journeys across India for travellers. StayNaut may coordinate accommodation, transportation, local guides, Journey Managers, experiences, and other services through third-party suppliers.
StayNaut acts as your primary point of contact throughout the planning and journey process and will make reasonable efforts to coordinate the services included in your confirmed journey.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in your booking confirmation, StayNaut is not itself the accommodation provider, transport operator, temple or religious authority, or provider of other third-party services arranged as part of your journey. Services delivered by third-party suppliers may also be subject to their applicable terms and operating conditions.
2. Enquiry, proposal, provisional arrangement, confirmed booking, and completed journey
These Terms distinguish between five stages of a StayNaut journey:
- Enquiry — You share your requirements through "Plan My Pilgrimage", the StayNaut website, WhatsApp, email, or direct contact. An enquiry does not create a booking, reservation, or obligation on either side.
- Proposal — StayNaut provides a suggested journey based on your requirements. A proposal may include suggested destinations, accommodation, transport, experiences, and pricing. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a proposal is subject to availability and is not a confirmed booking. A proposal may also be revised before confirmation if supplier rates, availability, taxes, government charges, travel dates, group size, or requested services change.
- Provisional arrangement — StayNaut may request tentative availability or place a temporary hold with a supplier while you consider a proposal. Such holds are subject to supplier terms and may expire or be released if not confirmed within the period communicated to you.
- Confirmed booking — A booking becomes confirmed when you have accepted the applicable proposal, completed the required payment or booking formalities, and received written confirmation from StayNaut. Your confirmed booking is governed by these Terms, the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy, and the specific booking terms communicated to you in writing.
- Completed journey — Your arranged journey has concluded. Any post-journey complaint, refund request, or other matter will be handled in accordance with these Terms and the applicable policies.
3. Customer responsibilities and accuracy of information
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information required to plan and arrange your journey. This may include traveller names, ages, contact details, travel dates, identity documents, accommodation requirements, mobility considerations, dietary requirements, and other relevant preferences or restrictions.
You should promptly inform StayNaut if any information previously provided changes. StayNaut cannot be responsible for additional costs, missed services, denied access, or unsuitable arrangements resulting from information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or provided too late for reasonable arrangements to be made.
4. Pricing, quotations, and payments
Prices provided during the planning stage are based on the information and availability known at the time of the proposal. Until a booking is confirmed, prices and availability may change because of supplier rates, availability, travel dates, group size, taxes, government charges, or changes to the requested services.
The applicable price for a confirmed journey will be communicated to you in the proposal, booking summary, invoice, or written booking confirmation issued by StayNaut.
Payment amounts, payment deadlines, applicable taxes or charges, accepted payment methods, and any applicable deposit or balance requirements will be communicated to you before or at the time of confirmation.
A booking may not be treated as confirmed until the required payment and confirmation formalities have been completed and StayNaut has issued written confirmation.
5. Accommodation, transport, and local guides
StayNaut selects or recommends accommodation, transportation, local guides, and Journey Managers based on the requirements of the journey, availability, suitability, and the information reasonably available at the time of planning.
Where applicable, StayNaut may identify or select suppliers according to its internal suitability or "StayNaut Verified" standards. Any such verification refers to StayNaut's supplier selection or review process and does not constitute a guarantee of future service quality or performance.
Actual services such as hotel rooms, vehicles, drivers, guides, meals, and local experiences are delivered by the relevant supplier and remain subject to their operating conditions, availability, and applicable laws and regulations.
6. Third-party suppliers
StayNaut may arrange services through independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, transport operators, guides, local experience providers, and other service providers.
StayNaut will take reasonable care in selecting and coordinating suppliers and will remain your primary point of contact for issues that arise in connection with an arranged service. Where a problem is caused by a third-party supplier, StayNaut will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the supplier and assist you in seeking an appropriate resolution.
Where a supplier's terms apply to a particular service, those terms may also govern matters such as cancellation, refund, check-in requirements, luggage, transport conditions, or service-specific restrictions, provided those terms are applicable to the booking and do not conflict with mandatory rights or protections under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights or remedies you may have against a supplier under applicable law or under the supplier's own applicable terms.
7. Availability and changes requested by you or caused by suppliers
Accommodation, transportation, guides, experiences, and other services are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by StayNaut.
If you request a change after confirmation, including a change to dates, destinations, traveller numbers, accommodation, transport, or other services, StayNaut will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges, supplier fees, cancellation charges, or changes to the journey price. Any applicable cost will be communicated to you before the requested change is confirmed, where reasonably practicable.
If a supplier becomes unavailable, withdraws a confirmed service, or materially changes an arrangement for reasons outside StayNaut's reasonable control, StayNaut will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable alternative. The replacement may be subject to availability and a different price. Where the alternative is materially different or no reasonable alternative is available, the applicable resolution will be handled in accordance with the booking terms and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8. Religious-site access, darshan, and temple timings
Access to temples, religious sites, darshan arrangements, queues, entry procedures, timings, security requirements, and local restrictions are controlled by the relevant temple or religious authorities and, where applicable, local administration.
StayNaut may plan your journey around publicly available information and known local practices, but cannot guarantee entry, a particular darshan time, queue position, waiting time, VIP or priority access, or uninterrupted access to any religious site unless such service is expressly confirmed in writing and is lawfully available through an authorised provider.
Temple closures, crowd restrictions, festivals, ceremonies, security measures, VIP movements, administrative decisions, or changes announced at short notice may affect access or timings.
9. Delays, disruptions, and force majeure
StayNaut is not responsible for delay, interruption, cancellation, or disruption caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government or administrative action, transport disruptions or strikes, civil unrest, security restrictions, public health measures, road closures, unexpected closure of religious sites, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or avoided.
When such circumstances affect your journey, StayNaut will make reasonable efforts to assist with alternative arrangements or practical solutions, subject to availability and any applicable additional costs.
Any refund or cancellation consequences arising from such events will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
10. Traveller documentation, visas, health, and accessibility
You are responsible for carrying valid identity and travel documents required for your journey. International travellers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required passport, visa, permit, vaccination, or other entry documentation.
StayNaut may provide general planning assistance based on information available to it, but you remain responsible for checking and complying with the documentation and entry requirements applicable to your circumstances.
If your journey involves senior travellers or anyone with specific mobility, health, dietary, or accessibility requirements, please disclose those requirements during planning. StayNaut will make reasonable efforts to shape the journey and coordinate suitable services where available.
StayNaut is not a medical provider and cannot guarantee that a destination, activity, property, vehicle, route, or religious site will be medically or physically suitable for a particular traveller. Travellers are responsible for assessing their own fitness for the journey and carrying any medication, assistance, or personal equipment they require.
11. Personal belongings, conduct, and safety
Travellers are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables throughout the journey. StayNaut will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings except to the extent caused by StayNaut's own negligence or as otherwise required by applicable law.
All travellers are expected to comply with applicable laws, religious-site rules, accommodation rules, transport requirements, and reasonable safety instructions provided by Journey Managers, guides, suppliers, or local authorities.
StayNaut may take reasonable steps to protect the safety and wellbeing of travellers and other persons where a traveller's conduct creates a material safety, legal, or operational concern.
12. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations, amendments, and refunds are governed by StayNaut's Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Because a StayNaut journey may include services supplied by different third parties, cancellation charges and refund eligibility may vary depending on the services booked, the timing of cancellation, supplier terms, and whether amounts have already been paid or committed to suppliers.
The cancellation terms applicable to your confirmed booking will be communicated to you as part of the booking process. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
13. Booking documents and precedence
These Terms & Conditions, the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy, and the specific terms communicated in your confirmed booking together form the terms governing your StayNaut booking.
If there is a specific term in your booking confirmation that differs from a general provision in these Terms, the specific booking term will apply to the extent it expressly relates to that booking.
Where a third-party supplier's terms apply to a particular service, those terms will apply to that service to the extent they were disclosed or otherwise applicable to the booking and do not conflict with mandatory rights or protections under applicable law.
14. Limitation of liability
StayNaut will exercise reasonable care in planning and coordinating the services it arranges and in responding to issues brought to its attention during the journey.
StayNaut is not responsible for matters that are outside its reasonable control, including the independent acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, decisions or restrictions imposed by religious or government authorities, force majeure events, or consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StayNaut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of opportunity, loss of enjoyment, or other consequential economic loss arising from a journey.
Subject to applicable law and any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, StayNaut's aggregate liability arising directly from a confirmed journey will not exceed the total amount actually paid to StayNaut for the specific affected booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Intellectual property and website content
Unless otherwise stated, content published on staynaut.in, including text, photography, graphics, branding, design, and other materials, belongs to StayNaut or its licensors. Such content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially reused without appropriate permission.
16. Privacy
Information you provide to StayNaut is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using StayNaut's services, you acknowledge that information may need to be shared with relevant suppliers where reasonably necessary to arrange and deliver your confirmed journey, subject to applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
17. Complaints and grievances
If something goes wrong before or during your journey, please contact your Journey Manager or StayNaut as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to assist while the issue can still be addressed.
You can contact StayNaut at hello@staynaut.in or +91 70075 71938.
We will make reasonable efforts to review and resolve complaints fairly and promptly. Where a complaint relates primarily to a third-party supplier, StayNaut may need to coordinate with that supplier before providing a final response.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or dispute-resolution rights available under applicable law, courts having jurisdiction at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or a StayNaut journey.
19. Amendments to these Terms
StayNaut may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its services, business practices, or legal obligations.
The version of these Terms in effect when your booking is confirmed will generally apply to that booking, unless a change is required by law or is otherwise expressly agreed with you.
The latest version of these Terms will be made available on the StayNaut website.
